	Victoria Strutters is a competitive dance and drill team. Members perform throughout the community and attend dance camps and competitions. Strutters are a subsidiary of Debbie Bennett Green School of Dancing. The purpose of this organization is to prepare children for high school drill teams. In addition, we will work to develop leadership skills and good sportsmanship among all members; to develop physically, mentally, and morally the character of each member; to learn to work for the good of the team rather than one's self; to learn to accept and fulfill responsibility and to promote awareness through community service projects. Qualifications: To be a member of the VS Dance and Drill Team, you must: Be in Pre-K (age 3) through 8th grade Abide by all VS and DBGSD rules Attend all practices and performances throughout the year Attend summer camp and all competitions Maintain satisfactory academic standings Abide by VS merit/demerit system Participate in all team fundraisers Participate in community service projects Be enrolled with DBGSD Audition for performance groups Keep DBGSD accounts current Ages and Class Schedule Lower Elementary   Pre-K, Kinder, 1st and 2nd Grade Thursday, 4:00-5:30pm     Upper Elementary   3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Thursday, 5:30-7:00pm     Junior High   6th Grade and Up Thursday, 7:00-8:30pm     Assigned group may be changed due to enrollment size. Director also reserves the right to change assigned group due to ability and/or other reasons deemed appropriate. In September, we will begin having weekend rehearsals once a month. In January, our weekend rehearsal schedule increases to twice a month. In addition, Instructors have the right to call additional rehearsals as needed. Being a member of a competitive dance team requires a great deal of time and effort. Class attendance is very important in order to prepare for performances and competitions. Good sportsmanship is required of all Strutters and their parents. The way one acts not only reflects on the individual, but the entire team and studio as well. Uniforms Victoria Strutters must purchase required practice dancewear and accessories. See Victoria Strutter Registration Packet for detailed dancewear list. Victoria Strutters will receive a 25% discount at Dance Showcase on all required Strutter items. Tuition and Fees Tuition   $30 per month / annually     Registration Fee   $15 one time fee
